I called to make an appointment to have them look at my car. I mentioned I wanted to use my insurance. The man on the phone asked me which company I use. I said progressive and proceeded to tell me I was wrong about my insurance payment options and he's worked with them for 20 years so he knows better. Then he refused to help me or even give me an estimate/appointment. I just got off the phone with progressive (again to double check) They said you're wrong. And refusing to help me because you don't know what you're talking about is awful customer service. You can choose a repair shop of your choice or receive a check for their estimated amount. You can choose your own mechanic. They will either pay out their own estimate(check)or work to pay your garage of choose minus the deductible. Or obviously you can work with a progressive mechanic. But clearly you didn't know that and instead wanted to be right. 😂 Big ego working over there, I'll bring my money elsewhere.
