Blue Ridge Vacuums

Bought and paid for a vacuum over a month ago. Still no vacuum. I've called the owner 4 times and have gotten no call back. The store employee says he does not have access to tracking numbers; so I had no help from him. They have my money. I don't have the product I paid for. Learn from my expensive mistake. Stay away from this store.

I dropped off a Dyson corded Animal vac for repair. The internal hose broke. A very common issue. It took 3 months to get the parts as they were backorder. Finally got the call it was done. Works great and they thoroughly cleaned to vacuum to like new condition.

Basically a scam company with an owner who does nothing but lie. Ordered a vacuum(stores flagship that they apparently can’t keep in stock they sell so many) and tried to cancel it before it arrived, was told there would be a 20% restocking fee. That’s right, 20% on an $1100 purchase, for a brand new in box item that hasn’t even arrived yet. Owner claimed the reason was because the vacuums are “assigned” to the buyer, and can’t be easily returned (more on this later). I had filed a credit card dispute at this point and said I needed proof of cancellation. The owner(whom called me from a restricted number, how professional) said there was nothing he could do, and only the banks had any control of the situation. Later found out from aforementioned banks that this was also a lie, and he absolutely could have provided it. Lastly, to verify the first claim about not being able to return the vacuum without a large fee being a lie, when I finally went to get the vacuum, he had “shipped it to another store”, even though the receipt specifically had said to have it at a certain store. Then, somehow, the color of the vacuum was offered to be changed! How funny considering he must’ve had to pay hundreds of dollars to “restock” my vacuum (he sold it to someone else and was planning on pocketing my $1100 and never saying a word.) Find an online retailer with actual good customer service, these people charge the maximum you can charge for these products, pointless to shop here.

I have 3 different vacuum products in my home from this specific location and love each of them! I live Out of town but visit Roanoke often to have my products serviced and cannot recommend them enough. The staff is very knowledgeable and i always Feel right at home when I’m there. Plus their new location is so much bigger and offers a lot more! Highly recommend Blue Ridge Vacuums for all of your home cleaning needs.

I've used this location for almost 20 years and have bought 4 vacuums here. My best one lasted 10 years! I have purchased different models and love them so much, I have one for each floor of the house! When the store was sold last year, I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner. I was in the market for an updated Oreck and despite it being almost closing time. the owner took time to show me the new stock. He explained the upgrades, warranty and functions but never "pushed" me to buy. When it came time for me to purchase, he was willing to give me a trade in value and free bags. I have been back a couple times for routine maintenance and am always pleased. I would recommend this business if you need or want a great, long-lasting vacuum and a professional salesperson who knows this brand and cares about customer service.
