DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have a geothermal unit with a small refrigerant leak. The "Tech" they sent didn't fix the leak, he just added refrigerant so the unit would run while he was here. Now a week later the unit stopped working again. They charged me $350 for a charge of refrigerant. Did not solve the problem.
My family does not recommend Blades HVAC. We have a geothermal system that had a slow leak at the circulation pump. On the pump housing, Blades put a service sticker with their phone number, approximately three inches from where the leak was happening. I thought great, I will call them and they will take care of it. When the service technician came out, he took a look at where the leak was and said that they do not service geothermal loop pumps, and charged me $125 to come say that; he was not even here ten minutes. I told him that I felt that I was being ripped off because I had described where the leak was, and they still sent someone... My family does not recommend Blades HVAC. The tech said I could take that up with the office. I called the office to describe that I would leave a critical review because of my experiences with them, and give them a chance to make it right. The guy in the office literally laughed at me and said something to the effect that just because a sticker was on the part doesn’t mean they service that exact part. Their four-hour service windows without updates make it difficult to plan when they may be able to come out. Had to reschedule a prior service call because the technician did not come out until about 12:15, when they had given me a window from 8-12. I do not recommend using Blades HVAC.
My ac was not cooling the house. It turns out that it had no coolant and needed to be filled. We will schedule a leak search so the problem does not happen again. The technician was professional and knew his “stuff.” I’ve recommended him to my sister. I rarely give 5 stars so consider this a great review.
I called Blades on a Saturday morning after my air conditioning failed. The operator had the on-call tech call me almost immediately. Alan gave me his estimated arrival time, and arrived on schedule. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and got the system operating again. He then spent time checking the system to make sure that everything worked as it should. Alan was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He even put notations in my file in case the problem ever reoccurred. I was completely satisfied with this experience.
Luis was a true professional. I really liked him not only as a tech but as a person. He's a great asset for your company.
