I'll say this about the chaps at beautiful music violin shop. They fixed me up quick with some repairs, bow hairs, and strings. They shared knowlage and we had pleasant conversations. They're friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. They're friendly service and personable demanor has made it to where I'll avoid going anywhere else. A lifelong violin player, trained Suzuki and classical. I found myself gigging in bands as an adult, with folk, red dirt, singer-songwriter, and bluegrass bands. I wanted an instrument that was affordable, yet met my standards of quality. My East Germany EH Roth just isn't an instrument I felt good about laying out on a stage, nor did it have the overtones for any kind of "grit" that suited some of the genres. I found a sassy lassie of a fiddle, at Beautiful Music. A completely different sounding instrument that cut through a sea of guitars and had so much personality. I often pick it up more than the Roth. Every year Beautiful Music has been a presence at Walnut Valley Music Festival and often have used their services for maintenance and of course purchasing one of my favorite instruments to play. Beautiful Music, Beautiful Instruments, and Beautiful People.
The folks at Beautiful Music are so helpful! I rented a bass for my husband, who wanted to try it out, and he's been thrilled with it. So much so that after several months, he purchased the bass he was renting. He's had the bass serviced and new electronics added to it. JJ and his team have been invaluable in helping maintain and upgrade his instrument! Highly recommended!
