Auger is my numero uno spot for all things vacuum & sewing needs although I don’t need any vacuum products, as a seamstress I’m here every week. Paul is the man & he sharpens scissors on Tuesdays. Anytime I need my machines looked at, need the skinny on all things sewing or just for a simple part—Paul is my go to guy. He cannot retire or I won’t know what to do. If you sew or need a quaint vacuum, go here & not anywhere else. If you’re buying a machine, go here & you won’t regret it. You can’t get the service at Wally World that you can get with Paul.

I had been searching for quite some time for the right sewing machine to replace my broken Singer. Since I tend to be very particular about purchases, especially when they go beyond a certain price point, I knew I wanted something a bit more high-end but preferably used so I wouldn’t have to pay full price. I came across an online post for a machine that seemed to fit my needs, so I decided to visit the shop in person. I was warmly greeted by the owner, who was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with all of my many questions. Their guidance and expertise made the process so much easier, and I felt confident in my decision. I am truly grateful for their assistance and will absolutely be returning for any of my future sewing needs.

What a wonderful experience dealing with this quality, locally owned business. We drove 40 mins to purchase a special ordered drive belt for our 1994 central vac system. They couldn't have been more helpful getting us the part & explaining how the system works, that came with our house when we purchased it.They were super friendly on the phone & in person. It's sooo wonderful to deal with a locally owned family business that provides so much better service than the bigger stores. Highly recommend this business and encourage others to shop local!

A rare gem of a store. The owners know everything there is to know about sewing machines, and vacuum cleaners. I was there for a sewing machine. Their inventory is over the top. Not only do they have a huge number of machines, they have thread, tools, notions, drafting supplies, sewing needles, pressure feet for every purpose imaginable, and stuff I've never seen before. Forget Joann's, and Amazon, give these guys a visit first so we can keep them in business!
