Don’t use this company. I purchased a new Maytag dryer, and the end of cycle buzzer did not function. We called Maytag, and they set up a service request. The day they were supposed to come out, nobody showed up. Called Appliance Repair and they said I was supposed to notify them that they were to come out on the day service was scheduled. Maytag said that was not correct. Set up another appointment, for 12 to 3. Again, no one showed up, and no one called. Contacted Maytag and they set me up with another service provider that came out and repaired my in-warranty dryer. This company is a joke, and should be put out of business. There are several other reviews that complain about this very same thing happening to them. Don’t waste your time and days trying to use Appliance repair service.

We had a new dishwasher bought and installed through Lowe's. Within days, we noticed it wasn't using hot water or drying properly. We called Lowe's and they sent us a technician from Appliance Specialists to come out and examine the dishwasher. The technician diagnosed it as a faulty heating element and had to order parts. Two weeks later he came out and installed the new heating element. Every time, we tried to turn the breaker back on for the dishwasher, it would the blow the fuse. The technician was baffled. He didn't understand why that was happening. He tried various different fixes until he discovered that the initial wiring from the installation from Lowe's was the problem. He fixed the wiring issue, and everything started working normally again. The technician went above and beyond to make sure that our dishwasher was working properly before he left, and we're very grateful for that. This ended up being a much bigger job than it seemed initially. The technician was very patient and diligent in making sure he got everything sorted. Thanks again.

I didn't have any of the issues that people have described. My dishwasher went out and it was covered under Lowe's extended warranty. I called Lowe's and they booked the appointment. The day before the appointment, Appliance Specialists called and gave me a 4 hour window. They called right before they were going to come over. The technician was very knowledgeable and immediately let me know that I needed a new dishwasher. It was leaking badly. He first noticed that the door seal had degraded and determined that the heating coil was over heating. This caused the door seal to degrade but also caused the inside of the dishwasher to warp, which ultimately caused the dishwasher to leak from the bottom. Since this was unrepairable, they filed their report and I was able to get my refund from Lowe's.
