Cozy, clean, and perfect for a winter stay We stayed at the AmericInn in Chamberlain and had a great experience. The building has a warm, rustic lodge feel — the lobby especially. With the fireplace going, Christmas decorations, and all the lodge-style touches, it felt more like a winter cabin getaway than just another roadside hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling and activities. The beds were comfortable, the space was tidy, and everything felt well cared for. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly. One funny learning moment: the microwave-popcorn they sell at the front desk doesn’t fit well in the room microwave — so it won’t pop fully. Not a big deal, just something future guests will want to know before committing emotionally to popcorn night. 😂 Overall, the hotel feels safe, inviting, and family-friendly, and it has way more character than most chain hotels. We’d definitely stay again!

The "lodge" theme is warm, inviting, and impeccably clean, creating a wonderful first impression that continues throughout the property. The Check-in Experience (5/5): * Check-in was fast and efficient. * The gentleman at the front desk was very pleasant and extremely helpful. A fantastic start to our stay! Room Comfort and Cleanliness (5/5): * Our room was spotlessly clean and had a pleasant, fresh smell. * The bed was made impeccably. * The bed itself was very comfortable, and I slept exceptionally well. * The heating/air conditioning unit was excellent, allowing us to easily set the room to the exact temperature we are used to. Accessibility Feedback (Needs Improvement): While our room had many features for accessibility, there were two areas that need attention: * Shower: The room featured a tub with a handle bar, but for true accessibility, I would strongly suggest replacing the tub with a walk-in shower. * Toilet Paper Holder: The holder was a long reach from the toilet. (This was fine for my long arms but might be tough for others) The One Issue (Why I Rated 4 Stars): * The only significant issue was with the shower head holder, which would not securely hold the shower head high enough above my head. Fixing this minor detail would instantly earn a 5-star rating from me. Final Recommendation: We would highly recommend this hotel. We have stayed here many times while traveling for business and will definitely continue to choose it.

This property is well below the normal standard for AmericInn in my experience. The rooms are OK. The overall property is OK. The breakfast was noticeably bad. What little fruit they had was spoiled. In general, the food selection and quality were below par. They have a fitness room, which is good. But the four pieces of equipment were older than old. Loud. Unbalanced. Very low end stuff. It's been a long time since I paid this much for so little.
