I just went in to get some Dignity statue magnets and ended up staying over an hour. The native collection of clothing and such was stunning, the history of folks who have contributed to South Dakota life was interesting.

Wow! Dignity was amazing. The view was stunning. We loved it so much we went back the next day (to get a map) and spent an hour more. The displays were great, but the people at the visitor center were beyond helpful. Definitely a winning stop in our vacation book!

A lovely place with all kinds of interesting information, featuring people of all races, some Native American history (just remember that Native Americans are still around) and exhibits and displays of SD things. Near the highway so worth the time to stop by. Free will donation for admission. Plenty of free parking. Handicapped accessible.

Made a quick stop while in the area. You can see some of the famous and honored people of South Dakota. Mary Hart from Entertainment Tonight and Lawrence Welk, to name a couple. Also an installation regarding the Dignity statue which was neat to see. Just a neat stop. Also outside there is a really nice Vietnam Memorial. If you're in the area it's a good stop to see it.
