10/10 recommend. We were referred to All About Chimneys by one of my husband's clients, and we are so glad we went with them! They were thorough and detailed in the quote, explained and answered any questions, and day of install were knowledgeable and friendly ! Everything went up quick , they cleaned up after themselves and we're overall great to work with. Highly recommend, and we will be referring them to others, as well as utilizing them for all our future chimney and stove needs!
Great experience, The new Kuma’s are clean burning and efficient. The installation was fast and professional with great customer service. I would recommend All About Chimneys to everyone.
These guys are as good as it gets. We had a challenging setup to get a wood burning stove in a corner of the house where there was no attic access. One of the guys squeezed into the 12x12 opening they made to get it connected and installed. They provided two quotes, both of which were conservative and they came in UNDER budget, on time, and with lots of care. We got a Kuma stove and it’s been a really great addition to the house. If you’re looking to support local, buy from these guys and get a Kuma (made in Rathdrum).

I have a heavy heart and struggled when deciding to post this update. That's what reviews are for though, right? I'm a huge advocate of giving kudos where they are deserved but on the flip side, I cannot turn a blind eye when deceit and/or unfavorable actions may take advantage of other's lack of knowledge or awareness.
I have recently heard a couple of stories from a few sources that confirmed my recent experience with this company that solidified my decision to seek out a second opinion. Without going into unnecessary detail and slandering this company, I'll just say simply, they will not be getting my business any more. Even if the things I have heard are not true or embellished...the response time, communication, and seeming lack of interoffice discrepancy I have experienced is enough a reason. EVERYONE is busy in the trade fields, I get that, but this goes beyond that fact. Again, no need for details.

A good indication of a company is how busy they are. When I called for an appointment they were over a month out. I was good with that. They arrived pretty much on time, like within 10 minutes, wearing masks, and were super nice to all our pets.
They covered the stove and was careful of dust, a vacuum was utilized during the entire cleaning process. We have a very small Jøtul woodstove. If it were my boyfriend trying to remove the baffle, there would have been things thrown and a whole lot of cussing. I could tell this situation called for exactly that but they kept their composure despite the difficulties and the stress of being watched. We have a very small cabin with no place else to go but the bathroom or open bedroom unfortunately.
We are happy with their service, the education and information they gave us, and the price! A very nice local family owned and run business. Will definitely have them back.
