Action Auto Repair and Towing LLC

Went to the capital theater for the TOTO concert and when I tried to start my car it didn't work.. called AAA and they sent out action auto to jump start my car. When I got the call back from action auto , they were very prompt, friendly and helpful.. I gotta thank the mechanic that arrived.It was later in the evening and he was there on time.No problems, no questions service with a smile, definitely.If you'd need a jumper anything , I would definitely advise colin action auto repair.

My car had gone into limp mode. So I had action towing, tow it there, and do a diag on it. When they had completed the diag on it, told me that my second cylinder was being “washed out” by coolant and I needed a new motor. They got my car out of limp mode and they decided to drive it to buffalo and back. Called me after the drove it and told me about the motor and all the “issues it had” i told them i would just pay for the tow and diag and take it to someone else to get a second opinion. I brought it to my guy, and all my car needed was a tune up. All it freaking needed was spark plugs. If 0 out of 5 stars was an option i would do that.

AAA paid for my tow here. They called me the next day to let me know my transmission would need replaced and offered some options. I asked if I could think about those options and they told me yes. He also informed me they would pay me scrap price for the van if i couldnt afford to fix it. I spoke with someone the following day, to ask about storage fees and how long i had to decide. She assured me they dont charge storage in the first two months, and that I had time. Due to living 5 hours from where I broke down, and a death in the family, it took a bit to get all the way back here. I called yesterday and specified I was told they would give me scrap prices for the van if I couldn't afford the repair. Confirmed hours to get my tools and things out of the van. I arrived today and again stated about the scrap price, asked what all needed signed on the title, and she gave me the key to remove my items. When I came back in to return the key, she informed me there would be NO payment for the van due to storage fees and inspection costs, and that they had no way to confirm who I spoke with. If I could give 0 out of 5 I would. I asked every question they are claiming I was being "billed" for, ensuring I would get nothing for my van. In the event of a breakdown, DON'T bring your vehicle here. They will lie and scam you out of the vehicle entirely.
