Great experience at Car-X West Lafayette I had a great experience at Car-X West Lafayette while traveling from West Lafayette to Chicago on 12/14/25. My car’s engine started overheating due to a low coolant level, so I stopped by to have it checked at Car-X. Scott Smith’s team was incredibly helpful and honest. Joe took the time to diagnose the issue, attempted to fix the problem, and refilled the coolant. What truly stood out was their integrity — despite all the time and effort he put in, he didn’t charge me anything. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness and support at a time of need. I would highly recommend Car-X West Lafayette to anyone looking for honest and dependable automotive service.

I can't express enough the excellent auto service as well as the superb customer service I received at this shop. Everything was explained clearly to me about the issues my car was having. Staff were very honest and upfront and I knew I could rely on them to complete the job. I will continue to use this Car-X shop anytime my car is having problems and when its a service they provide. Good going Scottie and staff, made a believer out of me and won my loyalty!!!
