Able Trades

Able Trades was the third contractor we contacted to demolish our existing camp and build a beautiful home in its place. The other two contractors never came through, but Able Trades was ready to go. They designed the new build and promised a quick build so we could limit the time we had to pay rent. They did top notch work and did it efficiently and on time. Our new home is gorgeous and everything went as smooth as it can. If you want an honest builder that fulfills there promises, Able Trades is your builder. We hope to do more project with them next winter.

Able Trades did an excellent job installing 5 new windows in my basement. I particularly appreciate that they appropriately handled removing the old windows which had lead based paint on them. Nearly all of the contractors I've worked with in the past say they will work lead-safe and then don't. However with Able they used plastic sheeting to contain any lead dust and cleaned up after they were done to ensure my kids weren't impacted. Their staff did quality work, were communicative about their plans, and kept us informed on their progress. Thank you Able Trades.

Peter came highly recommended by the company we bought our siding from. What started as an upgrade progressed to a large and complicated rebuild due to rot from time and weather on the Maine Coast! We were impressed with Peter's communication, promptness, and advise. The windows and doors Peter chose are excellent quality and well installed. The expertise of both Andrew & his building crew, the talented sheetrock repair Remi provided, then the finish carpentry by Tristan's crew were excellent work and value. They are polite, friendly and cleaned up debris as they progressed. Our thanks for all the improvements to our home that we are excited about and will enjoy! Look at that deck facing the river!
