Had 4 quotes on my engine replacement. Ended up with these guys. They weren't the least expensive, but they do seem the most knowledgeable. They help with the shipping and receiving of my engine ans had it installed in a timely manner (bout a week). They also helped with the extra parts needed to make my jeep run properly while helping me get the best quality /price on said parts. Would definitely recommend this shop again and again.
Sorry for the late post. Wish would have met these guys on better circumstances but things happen. Had a substantial repair done, the whole front of the truck had to come off. It was a reasonable price and they got it done really fast. Me and my wife Kami both think they are down to earth people and will be back hopefully for routine maintenance. Thanks again guys
My son in law installed a new K&N air filter on my 22 Jeep Gladiator Diesel. I have an AEM aftermarket cool air intake system (OEM filter box). Shortly after the K&N filter install, my engine light came on. I took my Jeep to Xpress Diesel on 9/23/25 @ 7:30am and explained everything mentioned above and let them know the AEM filter was in my back seat, and that I needed an oil change. I was quoted $162 for the oil change. By 8:19am Xpress Diesel was calling. I was told that there were 2 codes; crank case ventilation disconnect and fuel injection quantity. I was told the rubber boot on intake was ripped. They stated they could order the rubber boot, and I would need the fuel filter replaced. Total price, $1,159.
On 9/24/25 @ 3:20pm Xpress Diesel phoned. They stated i needed a entirely new cool air intake system at an additional cost of $622.97. I asked why I needed a new system. I told them I couldn't afford the additional cost. I asked if they changed the oil. Their said yes. I told them not to order the new system and that I would pick up my Jeep. I was told it needed to be "put back together," and that I could pick it up the next day. Day 3, I arrived to pick up my Jeep. Despite not "fixing" the codes, they replaced the fuel filter at a cost of $88.12 plus $164.95 in labor.
Total cost of oil change and fuel filter was $173.73. Labor to diagnose the codes and install a fuel filter $404.90. "Supply charge" $28.94. Use of debit card, and additional $24.86. Total $647.83.
I went home that night, silicone the rubber boot under the clamp that was chewing holes through it, let that dry overnight and installed. Put the old AEM filter back on, cleared the codes and the Jeep has been fine ever since.
My opinion, I feel Xpress Diesel attempted to install unnecessary high dollar parts and grossly exaggerated the time it took to install a fuel filter. And the need to keep my Jeep overnight to "put back together" is unacceptable.
Take your vehicle to the dealership, anywhere but Xpress Diesel.
