Tyler and his crew did excellent work at a reasonable price with excellent timing. Truly a five star job!
We had some dead lawn removed and new sod installed. These guys were great! We were running up against winter and getting this done while our irrigation was still operational. They knocked it out quickly during difficult wet condition. Hard worker! Very personable, and easy to work with. Highly recommend.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend Woodfellas. We had them install a privacy fence for our special needs child. We hired them because we thought they had high quality fence and would get it done in a timely manner. Our goal was to get it installed so that our son could be in our backyard safely this summer. The fence was finally finished the second week in August. It took a total of 2.5 months. We were told that we were getting a different fence and we were given Menards fence panels--I can tell you already that they are very flimsy and don't seem sturdy. We were told people were coming to work on the fence several times and nobody ever showed up. Panels were left on our grass in 3 areas for weeks, which killed our grass. They damaged our siding on our garage and destroyed one of our downspouts. Screws were left all over the yard (several were hit with our mower and found by our children). Gas was dumped on parts of our lawn, which also killed the grass. On the first day, they actually started installing the fence in the wrong spot, and my husband had specifically taken off of work to review where the fence was going with one of the supervisors. This resulted in dead spots on our lawn also. I was made aware that there were issues between the two supervisors, and that is unfortunate, but I feel that adjustements should have been made on our bill due to all of the stress and issues we had. The only person who apologized and finished the project was Tyler and his son, which we are grateful for--they worked very hard. However, when things happen between business partners, I don't feel that the customer should have to receive the bad end and suffer the results. If we knew things were going to end up like this, we would have just done the fence ourselves. Would have gone much faster and we would have been able to enjoy having a safe yard.
