I had my grandmothers ring resized and appraised a few months ago. The sizing was fine and the appraisal was overall a good experience, but I wore the ring once and lost a diamond. somewhere along my day. I trusted that the ring was returned to me in secure condition, and it’s disappointing to experience this so quickly after the repair. And yes, it was months after service but the truth is this ring is not an everyday kind of ring and I wore it for the first time in February.
