Best Hot Mix in Hampton Roads!..Virginia Beach and Norfolk Plant!.. Been buying materials from them for years!
Very inconsiderate, rude, and blatantly disregarded situational awareness. There is a crew working at Morningside Dr. Chesapeake, whom at 0700 had a busy intersection congested with their Supervisor Work Trucks. Motorists were honking their horns and telling them to get out of the intersection so people could get to work. No traffic control present and those in the trucks just ignored everyone to continue their conversation in a road way. Even if it wasn't a Friday and Rush Hour, this is not acceptable. Attempted to call the home office to let them know, however noone answered the phones despite attempting to call several times throughout the day. Driving is dangerous enough as it is, so please educate your crews to not be more of a hindrance than it needs to be. Driving safe is more important than people being too lazy to park their vehicle, off to the side and out of the way, to hold a conversation regardless of what the topic is about

This company has been repaving our neighborhood for the past couple of days. The elementary school is on the opposite side of the neighborhood. The last two mornings (while driving my son to school) I've almost been hit by dump trucks running stop signs. I was able to read the name of the company on the truck door. The second time this happened I called the main line. The lady informed me that I would have to speak with their safety manager. I was given the information and called the safety manager. I informed the manager of my neighborhood (Christopher Farms) and the issue I had. I told him after seeing the name "Virginia Paving Company" on the side of both the vehicles that cut me off, that I called the company. The manager asked me what the color of the trucks were that cut me off. I told him I don't know, maybe red. I said that I've seen 10+ trucks so I don't know. I explained that I was busy reading the name of the company, looking at the driver, and trying to catch the truck number. The manager told me that their trucks aren't red, so it wasn't them. I then informed him again that I said "maybe" and wasn't paying attention to the color of the truck since I had the name. The manager continued to argue that it wasn't his truck because I said it was red. It was obvious this "safety manager" just wants to argue with people instead of doing their job!
