I wish that all business owners ran their services like Chris Van Vleet does. All projects at our summer cabin were completed on, if not before, the scheduled date. Chris was cheerful, and always communicative and prompt in addressing any of our questions or concerns. He also had some really creative ideas and suggestions about details we had overlooked. And his work and craftsmanship was nothing less than top-notch. I would give him 10 stars if I could! We will always use Van Vleet construction for any further remodels or additions.

Chris was delightful to work with. He really listened to how we use our deck and accommodated our wishes. He and his crew were terrific! I've never seen a more diligent team of workers. They got the job done quickly, cleaned up every single day and tolerated our very anxious dog who doesn't like men with tools. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more beautiful deck. Working with Chris VanVleet was AMAZING!!! We had a 25 or 30 year old rotting, 3 tier deck that needed to be demolished and replaced. Chris spent almost 2 hours with us, going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground. The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. He made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes. Chris is a man of great integrity, and a hard worker, and we will be hiring him for future remodeling projects.
