US Siding & Roofing, Painting and Windows

We called US Siding and Roofing to help with an ice dam problem. I was able to speak with G right away and he and his team came by within 30 minutes. G's company was able to take all the snow off my roof in an efficient and professional way and solve our problem. G was a lovely person and so very helpful. We will likely use G and his team when we need to replace our roof and we will certainly call on them for any other snow-related problem.

I cannot write enough good things about my experience with US siding and roofing. The handholding through the renovation process & the final craftsmanship was excellent. I contacted US siding & roofing to replace the windows, siding and roof on my 1970s ish home to install gutters soffits and fascia. I compared them with two other contractors. I chose Diogenes (G, the owner) because during the project scoping phase (where they come to your house and ask what you want done) Diogenes foresaw a lot of problems BEFORE the project even started. For example, some of my existing windows would have been covered by the new soffits and fascia I was installing. None of the other contractors picked up on that, but G did, and we we were able to resize the windows that day so they wouldn't intersect. I believe if I had picked another contractor, we would have ordered windows that would have collided with the soffits, discovered that halfway through the project, and then we'd have to haggle to figure out who pays for what. The earlier you identify these issues, the cheeper it is for everyone, and Diogenes found things day one. In between us ordering siding + windows, and starting the project, I realized I also wanted to change the shape of my front entrance. I worked with Diogenes to adjust project plan to get what I want. When I asked if I could order a front door with a long lead time, he prioritized what I wanted over changes in the schedule that would have impacted his teams - "get the door you want, we'll make it work." I chose Cedar Impressions Sawmill Shingles (cedar, balanced mix) for siding because I loved the look. The siding is more expensive, not as common, and more labor intensive to install. I was worried that Diogenes's team wouldn't have practice and experience to make this work, but G assured me they did, and they did. I was blown away by the quality of the installation by Bruno, Deny, and Abenay (maybe misspelt, sorry!). They took their time, but methodically covered my house in individual sawmill shingles, and it looks great. I think US Siding and roofing has more photos of the project, but I've attached a before & after as well. US Siding and roofing did the change to front entrance shape, the siding, the windows, the soffits gutters and facia, and the roof. One thing that could have gone better: I wish US Siding and Roofing had an in house architect. I needed drawings for the front entrance changes, and got an outside architect at Diogenes's recommendation who was expensive and didn't really do much from my perspective.
