Top to Bottom Chimney Services

The lovely young men *sarcsm* driving this vehicle thought it would be a great idea, to attempt and purposely hit me while recklessly parking. While retrieving my items to conduct company business, these two gentleman slung this contraption into a tight parking lot, nearly hitting me. After getting out of the van, these two incompetent gentlemen laughed and made comments, one including "should've hit her". I would not recommend patronizing this company, spend your money elsewhere.

Called Top to Bottom Chimney this morning and Andy (the owner) came out this afternoon. Now, the only reason this happened is because I got lucky - he happened to have an opening and his last job was near my home and so he squeezed me in. But still, a very good thing considering it is a week before thanksgiving and fireplace guys are busy now. Very appreciative that they worked me in! We bought this home recently and needed to have 2 fireplaces inspected and potentially cleaned. One fireplace has gas logs installed, and we wanted to convert back to a wood burner (with a gas log lighter beneath) if possible. As it turns out, the chimney on that one would need a bunch of work to return to use as a wood-burner - (so I am guessing that is why the previous owners went with gas logs). He gave me an estimate for repairs while standing in my living room and there was NO PRESSURE at all to do the work. Yes, it was more than we want to spend, but honestly - it seemed like a very reasonable price considering the scope of the work. Again, it works fine as a gas fireplace and so we just couldn't justify the cost simply because we prefer wood burners. He inspected the other fireplace and reported that is was clean and ready to go. The best part, he charged me less than originally estimated over the phone! In short, the entire experience could not have been better. Andy and Cody were professional, friendly and prompt. The price was very reasonable and it is good to know that the fireplaces are safe to use. I will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
