I contacted Tom's on 1.24.26, that my gas heat was not working, it was 10 deg. out side and forecast to get colder. Robert Clayton called me advising me that the roads were too bad to travel to my house, he said that he would contact me in the morning. Robert called on Sunday morning and advised that he was on his way. Robert could not help because the problem was a gas valve that he did not have on his truck, he sent in a mergercy request for a gas valve and advise Tom's would contact on Monday to schedule the valve replacement. Robert did everything that he could do with out the replacement valve. Thank you Robert for driving 26 miles on ice and snow covered roads to get to my house and address the problem even though you could not fix . Paul Grossman arrived on 1.26.26, with the new gas valve, Paul removed and installed the valve in a timely manner with no mess lift behind. The unit is now heating and the house temperature is returning to normal. I have been a customer of Tom's for at least 30 years, they have installed two systems for me and serviced them with 5 STAR service! Thank you Tom's, Paul and Robert!

The serviceman did an excellent job of yearly maintenance of my Trane unit. He also answered several questions about heat pump units. He was respectful and very nice. He was nice and spent several minutes helping me figure out how to change the time on my thermostat unit. We found out there was no way to change the time except maybe reboot the device, which I chose not to do. He is a great representative for your company. I had a coupon today that was given to me when I purchased my Trane in July 2024, which was no cost for the service maintenance. I used my last coupon today for no cost. This really helps, I am 80 years young and on a fixed income, so that you Tom's Mechanical!! Carolyn DeVore
