Please do not use this company if you live in a Mobile Home. In April 2021, I called to inquire if the Handyman Company specifically worked on Mobile Homes and I advised I was looking to do a bathroom remodel. The company stated that they did. I had two separate handymen come to work on the bathroom and both confirmed that the Mobile home was structurally sound before moving forward with any remodel. After the bathroom remodel, one of the handymen came back to evaluate the sinking floor. His suggestion was to patch up the sinking spots. On September 17th, I reached out and obtained a second opinion from a local Vapor and Barrier Company. They inspected my floors and discovered that I have Honeycomb flooring that has no floor joist and that the floor is collapsing throughout the entire span of the Mobile Home. On September 20th, I called a Mobile Home repair company that came to further inspect the floors and confirmed what the local Vapor & Barrier Company stated and that the entire mobile home floors need to be gutted and replaced. Both companies stated that the original contractors hired should have immediately noticed the deteriorating floors. I have reached out to the Handyman Company several times and have yet to get a response back. Now after spending thousands of dollars for the bathroom remodel, I need to spend 3 times that to have another company rip out what the Handyman company did and fix the collapsing floors. So much for guaranteeing their work like they advertise...
