Very timely. Good appointment arrival communication. Didn’t take off boots or ask if he should wear booties. Called about a leaking garbage disposal. It was fixed quickly, but he proceeded to tell me everything else he felt needed to be changed out, like my kitchen faucet and tub jets. I didn’t appreciate the up-selling. It’s not what I called for nor did I ask for his opinion on those things. I don’t have a limitless supply of money to just randomly change things out that aren’t broken or that aren’t causing damage to my home. I also had him come look at a small leak at the base of my tub faucet. Access for plumbing was in the basement ceiling. He proceeded to tell me that’s too challenging of an access point and wanted to cut my tile on the deck tub. I immediately said no. It has been serviced via the basement before when the faucets were originally installed. Just disappointed on the upselling and him thinking it’s no big deal to cut my tile on my tub deck. I don’t think this is a tmark issue in general, perhaps just the one tech.
Called T-Mark as we've had reliable service from them in the past. However their plumber and sales rep did not listen to our concerns about the floor. We have been doing remodeling and ran in to a rusted out vent pipe for our downstairs bathroom. Tmark was the first on my call list since previous good experiences. Their sales rep who gave us the quote said the plumber would be able to do everything without damaging the floor. When the plumber came the next day he explained what they would be doing and my wife asked if the floor would still be able to be used for new tile. He assured her would. Hewas unable to remove the flange and started hacking away at the concrete the flange was cemented in to. We could have lived with using the old flange that the sales rep insisted on. Now this was the mess we are left to deal with after being out $1800. Plus whatever costs replacing the entire floor will take.
