I had a technician come to the house on approximately Jan 29th to look at my Aprilaire 800 humidifier that was installed by superior Comfort in October 2025. The service light was on and it was determined that it needed a new canister and they would order it. I called on February 11th to see the status of the canister and they indicated they would get back to me that day. I did not receive a call that day. I called today (February 16) and was told someone would let me know the status of the order. Wondering what is going on. The newly installed gas furnace works great. The humidifier on the other hand has been an issue since install. A technician has been here a few times for various issues. I am considering to ask for either a new humidifier or having it removed. Presently it is a 3200.00 useless box installed in my duct work. Also tried to make a online service request but it won't send. Lastly, I went on Amazon and If I order the canister in the next few hours, I can get it delivered to my house by tomorrow so I am not sure of the issue.
