ServPro SE Milwaukee was hired to complete a water mitigation and restoration/rebuild. From top to bottom they all have been wonderful to work with. Our work included demolition, drying, some adjustments based on findings, treatment for water related issues, restack of cabinets/countertops on shims and working with original cabinet vendor to obtain replacement parts. I recommend them, would use them again.
Everyone at Servpro was super kind, knowledgeable and professional. This was my first time dealing with a major repair and I was unsure what to do. Dan and everyone else involved were excellent and genuinely good people.
I hope I'll never need to call them again, but if disaster strikes they're first on my list.
Highly recommend.
I would give this place zero stars if I could! Communication was terrible from the start. We dealt with Dan K. a project manager who built us a quote of items that we were not even interested in $18,000 with our budget being $12,000. Dan also told us he could “have dry wallers out the next day for us.” The project did not start till a week later.
The project continued to be delayed due to the dry waller placing dry wall over where the electrician needed to work, the electrician being unable to do his work because of this and having to come back, and several flooring issues. The first day of flooring the contractors brought carpet and vinyl and said they were here to do the carpet and vinyl. Dan rudely told me that I was incorrect and that they had no plans of doing the carpet. Dan said they did not even have the padding with them. The contractors left the carpet and padding at my house. I just don’t understand how someone can say I am wrong when they are not at my house to see or hear what is going on? I offered that he could stop by to see what is going on since he did not believe me, but he never did.
The electrician had to come out 2 separate days, flooring took an extra day as the carpet had bleeding that I notified as the installers were driving away. Again this was noted by me as the customer not the contractors! I had to continue to vouch for the job to be done well! The painters had to come back an extra day to patch up where the electrician went in and any imprections. The first electrician came and said we could have as many outlets as we wanted which was 4 and we marked them. When the second electrician came he said he only had 2 time for two. After speaking with Jon they settled on 3? We were happy to pay for the additional outlets but were not given an option to do so. We were never listened to by Dan in the first place in regard to our floor plan and what we wanted so this was overlooked.
After I complained how I did not like how I was being treated by Dan I was connected to Jon the owner of the company who was equally unpleasant. He made sure to tell me “I am the owner of the company I don’t have time to call you every 5 minutes.” I wouldn’t have had to deal with Jon in the first place if the job was done right in the first place. In addition, I only talked to Jon on the phone a total of 2 times once with my initial complaint and then a second time. Jon wanted to inform me how busy they have been with the record breaking flood and if I was aware of the flooding. Certainly I was aware as I was impacted by the flooding. Maybe your team shouldn’t take on so many jobs if you can’t care for your customers! Jon also wanted to inform me how incredible it was that his team was able to get my basement done in 2 weeks. I was originally quoted 3 days from Dan so this was quite longer than I was initially quoted .
This project took longer than anticipated due to several errors. I reached out to Jon about my concerns of touching up the paint in the basement from where the movers scuffed my doors and ceiling. He assured me via email this would be fixed and it wasn’t. Would not recommend this company to anyone. If you want to be disrespected, communicated poorly with, and have low quality work done than this is the company for you. By far the worst customer service I have ever received!Embarrassed that I gave this company money. Looks like I will be touching up paint and scraping paint off my vinyl floors for the upcoming days.
Servpro is a great company to work with and our project manager Dan is the best!
From our first call, Dan has been super responsive, friendly, helpful and always professional! My lower level got destroyed by flood water and less than 2 months later, it has been reconstructed, restored and looks awesome; couldn’t be happier! Servpro and Dan have definitely won my business for any future needs :)
Our septic system backed up into our basement. It was a disgusting mess and we didn’t even know where to start. We made one call to Servpro and we are SO glad we did. Jon and his team showed up immediately and completely took care of our emergency from start to finish. They handled absolutely everything so we didn’t even have to lift a finger. From cleaning up the mess, to dealing directly with the insurance company, to designing and completing the rebuild. The entire team at Servpro handled everything professionally every step of the way. We simply could not be happier with their service. Every crew that they sent to the house throughout the project was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and punctual. All the work was completed on time and within budget. They honestly took a disgusting mess of a basement and turned it into our new favorite spot in the house. I cannot thank them enough and I give Jon and his team at Servpro my HIGHEST recommendation.
