I went in just for a new pin for my watch strap. They realy wanted to charge me 20 US$ for a 3 minutes work and that pin!? Absolutely ridiculous, and I left. A few blocks away, "George's Jewellery and Gifts" has done this repair for absolutely NOTHING!
Highly recommend! Need a link removed from my watch while in port and they were able to help me out in less than 5 minutes !
I found this shop downtown and from now on will be taking my watches to him for battery replacement and maintenance. Sam is quick and efficient. Had my watch done within 15 minutes. I find the price is standard for Juneau. Fred Meyer has to ship items down south to repair or maintain, and will not even touch your item unless it was purchased from them.
Sam has beautiful hand made jewelry at very reasonable prices. He also repaired my broken jewelry and had it looking brand new the same day!
Scammer. Do not go here. Charged my mother $20 to replace a watch battery, which didn't work. If you're a local, Fred's Jeweler's is your best option. If you are on vacation, wait until your next stop.
