Extremely hard to get any help with the cards or get anyone to acknowledge your presence while waiting patiently. Extremely discouraging would love to do business, but after many times of waiting to be helped while the store is dead and not getting any acknowledgement after 20 minutes infront of the card section. I simply can't support coming to an establishment anymore that doesnt support or recognize a repeat customer or value my time. Very sad
I thought this place is gonna be pretty cool. From the outside it looks like a really nice trading card store. However I don’t know what they’re doing on the inside. You have to use a kiosk in order to get pricing for the cards which I find is weird. If you wanna look at the card and the condition, they don’t hand the card to you they have somebody model show it to you. No offense, I have kids that know what they’re looking for and how to handle cards better than some of the people in the side there. Not worth the time. Don’t get me wrong. They have a good selection, but they’re just gonna send you to TCG player not sure why but that’s what they do. I think the store needs to revert back to you some more traditional methods of showcasing cards. When somebody’s looking for $100-$200 card they want to be able to look at it. Feel it make sure that there’s no divots. I don’t need it modeled to me. Save yourself some time go to another place.
Another customer lost…
I’ve always loved coming here—taking trips down memory lane and sharing my childhood nostalgia with my own son. Sadly, this last visit will be my final one.
About four months ago, I bought a game from this store, took it home, and it didn’t work. I came back roughly 15 minutes later to exchange it for store credit, following their policy. At that point, I asked a simple, reasonable question: moving forward, could games be tested before purchase so I wouldn’t waste my money again? I was told a resounding yes!
Fast forward to 12/30/25. I walked into the store with my 5-year-old son to buy him a LEGO Batman game for the PS3. When we reached the counter, I politely asked the “manager” if the game could be tested—just to make sure it worked. After disappearing into the back for a few minutes, she returned and said they were too busy and didn’t have the time.
That response said everything. As someone who’s been a regular all of 2025, I apparently wasn’t worth a few minutes of basic customer service. The body language, the tone, the lack of care—it was all incredibly discouraging. I didn’t feel like a valued customer at all. I felt like an inconvenience.
It’s hard not to believe the real reason games aren’t tested is because refunds aren’t the goal. Instead, customers are pushed back into the store to spend more money under a rigid “store policy,” regardless of whether the product actually works.
This may be long-winded, but the takeaway is simple: this store doesn’t care about keeping loyal customers. They’ve lost mine—and they’ve lost a Sunday night MTG Commander player as well. I genuinely wish this experience had been different. I really do.
They buy and sell pokémon cards here. They also have a really awesome plushie of Audrey too that's around $200 some odd dollars. They actually carried quite a bit of stuff for a gaming store I was surprised at what varieties they had. The staff is friendly and they host gaming nights here.
