I Would highly recommend Restoration 1! They came out same day and quoted me, started work soon after. Kevin kept me updated the whole process and his guys did an outstanding job! I really appreciated them Working with me being self pay! Took care of me when insurance wouldn’t!
I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Restoration One.
When my pipes burst, I was completely overwhelmed. My home was a mess, and I felt helpless watching everything I cared about turned upside down. It was one of the most stressful and emotional experiences I’ve ever been through. But from the moment I talked to Amanda and Shawn, I felt like I wasn’t alone anymore. The Restoration1 team arrived in less than an hour of initial contact and got right to work.
They didn’t just clean up my house — they treated my home and my belongings with so much care and respect. They carefully packed up my entire life, making sure everything was safe. They stood by me through the exhausting back-and-forth with my insurance company, handling the endless requests for pictures, proof, and explanations with patience and professionalism when I felt like I couldn’t take it anymore.
What meant the most was how much they truly cared. They showed compassion, kindness, and understanding during a time when I felt completely drained.
When they moved everything back into my home safely, it felt like I could finally breathe again.
They didn’t just restore my house — they helped restore my peace of mind. I will forever be grateful.
We had a fire at our home. Restoration 1 and the team were amazing from start to finish. They were able to board up our home so that it wad secured and even take clothes to watch overnight so wed have some clothing for the following week. Cory was excellent at explaining contents and how the process would go. The girls wrapping and packing our belongings did an excellent job of keeping what we needed at the house and what could go. Worked with Kevin and Fabian throughout the mitigation and had a great overall experience with the company. They walked us through the insurance steps as well and worked great with our adjuster. These guys know what they are doing and we are so thankful we went with them!
Look at the 5 reviews after I wrote mine.
It hurts me to write this mixed review because for better or worse I have been working with this company on my homes storm damage repair for 14 months after a tornado knocked a tree onto our house crushing the roof.
First impression was Awesome! When it was difficult to find a company to come out on short notice, they came in like a Mission Impossible team, sealing rooms, measuring and demolishing damaged drywall and wet insulation with precision and treating for mold. They removed my contents documenting everything and taking photos to submit our unsalvageable items to insurance. Delays by Allstate (not in good hands) to get any repairs done hindered progress. They had to come out again to remove more damaged material and contents from other rooms that Allstate (again stay away) denied were damaged initially.
Heres where things start to go south. I start noticing loosely supervised teens doing work. They removed the plastic from the sealed rooms. The initial clean up was good but now dust and insulation was getting all over the rest of the house. Finally after over a year we get to a settlement with Allstate to fix our house.
Now its post construction. Our content storage had been poorly done. The photos this girl ,who seemingly spoke broken english, took of our unsalvageable contents showed no identifying information and was blurry. The ledger also contained vague general descriptions, so Allstate would not reimburse us for our beds full values $3200, we were only able to justify $900 reimbursement among other poorly documented items that cost us money.
When they brought the contents back they were supposed to bring the boxes to the correct rooms, unpack and reassemble furniture. Again more inexperienced teen workers supervised by another teen/young adult. The boxes had confusing labels from when they came out the second time and were mixed up. They were just bringing boxes in and loading them randomly into the house my wife and I working hard to direct them while also taking care of our own responsibilities. Screws were missing from furniture. We ended up having to open and organize all the boxes, unpack, go to the hardware store to replace the missing screws and put together all the furniture ourselves. This was a huge pain.
Now we are in recovery mode and there is drywall dust insulation and carpet fibers everywhere. We had already done a lot of the surface cleaning but needed detail work done. I am told the restoration company handles clean up. I am hesitant to use them, but after talking to the manager he assures me that they will do a professional deep cleaning in the house with HEPA filters and wipe down all surfaces baseboards blinds ceiling fans etc. They show up the following week. Not too bad on response time but again more teens with teen supervisors. They were nice and good workers but it seemed like they lacked any training. maybe they were just used to cleaning enclosed worksites, i dont know, but I felt like I made my expecttions clear. No-one assessed the situation. Two girls walked around with back pack vacuums while another boy started sweeping. Eventually, supervisors showed up and provided some direction. One guy wiped the steps and hall with wet wipes. No mops? At this point it was painfully obvious they were not qualified or prepared for the job and we were going to have to come out of pocket to hire someone else or do it ourselves, since Allstate wouldn’t pay for two cleanings. They asked me to do a walk through and I was so disappointed I just said everything looked fine as I didn’t have the time or patience to walk around the house and point out everything they missed.
