Ray's TV & Appliance

Very disappointed in my service or lack of today. I was scheduled for 11am-2pm window and no service tech showed up at my house and no phone call to let me know they would be running late. This was my first time dealing with Ray's TV & Appliance and unfortunately probably my last. My intention was to be purchasing a new washer, dryer, dishwasher and refrigerator since all my appliances are going to have to be replaced in the near future so have to search around. A phone call advising me he would have been running late AFTER my window time would have been appreciated. You can bet after your reply insulting a potential customer I WON"T be going to Rays.

In February 2022 I bought a Maytag refrigerator freezer side-by-side with a water dispenser and automatic ice maker at Ray's Appliance for $1555. 6 weeks later, it needed to be replaced because it stopped working! Now two years later the refrigerators' compressor died. The repair technician from Ray's was able to tell me what's wrong for $106, but wasn't able to replace the R600 compressor because he doesn't have the skill to fix it. I found a technician that could, for $850! Ray's would cover the condenser cost, but what good is it when they don't have a technician that has the skill to replace it? Just make sure when you're buying an appliance that the business has technicians that can work on their products. And even though Maytag has a good name, my experience doesn't support the reputation. An all-around frustrating situation.
