First time here for an oil change/service and very happy with the service and price. Friendly staff greeted me at check-in and provided quick service. I would recommend anyone who is looking for vehicle service to and checkout Quick Lane at Jack Kain Ford.
As a local in Versailles, I've been using Quick Lane at Jack Kain Ford for years for oil changes, brakes, and tires and other services. They're quick, professional, and the prices are fair—no upselling nonsense. The staff is always welcoming and keeps you updated. Great service on all makes/models—will keep coming back!
I was a loyal customer for 4+ years, and will not return after my recent experience.
Quick Lane staff treated me like less than garbage. I came in for a standard strut replacement. The facility recommended replacing control arms as well. Not only did they neglect to order in the parts I requested, they also installed mismatch parts from the left and right side. When my vehicle couldn't be aligned, they then tried to blame me. Only after several repeat trips and demanding a full refund (which was refused) did the personnel install matching parts.
I'm posting this in the hopes that no one else has to experience my distress. Find a more reliable shop.
EDIT: In response to the owner, my vehicle has not experienced any collisions that resulted in front end damage to the frame, subframe, or suspension. In June 2022, I was rear-ended by another vehicle. My vehicle was COMPLETELY repaired.
Secondly, post June 2022, the same vehicle has been serviced by Jack Kain Quick Lane for “The Works Oil Change” which includes an alignment check. No front end damage or alignment issues were identified over the past two years at any of these visits. It was not until Jack Kain Quick Lane recommended repair to and removed front control arms, that my vehicle was suddenly “unable to be repaired”.
Thirdly, I believe all Quick Lane work is covered by a 2-year service warranty. As such, I should not have to fight for this service to be corrected. After a third run around session, Jack Kain Quick Lane installed new matching components on the car, and it now drives correctly, thus proving that the initially installed components were incorrect and the cause of the issues.
Furthermore, I’ve now had my vehicle inspected by two different shops, both confirming that there is no visible sign of front-end damage that would result in an inability to perform a proper alignment.
There is no front-end damage; no-one has tried to manipulate, repair, or otherwise perform work to the subframe. The statements in Mr. Kain’s response are blatant lies. His response to my request for a refund came with the conditions of not posting any reviews on social media and that the service warranty for this work would be no longer available to me.
Again, I wanted to share my experience in the hopes that their practices change and customer's do not have the same experience as I.
