Quick Fixx Phone Repairs

Our family of five all have mobile devices, primarily iPhones ranging from the 8 Plus to various models like the X and XR. Now, we've even added iPhone 16 Pros to the mix. I've been handling all our iPhone repairs myself and have consequently saved hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars, as these repairs can be quite costly. I'm aware that with Apple's restrictions on newer devices beyond the iPhone XR, certain features can be lost if you replace screens or batteries. However, these repairs can still be done professionally. If you're doing this for a living, you need the right tools and methods to ensure these features are retained. So, when it came time to replace a cracked screen and a failing battery on an iPhone XR, I decided to take it to a shop to have it done 'right.' Or so I thought. The battery and screen were indeed replaced, but now I'm faced with a system alert stating that the battery is not original. Consequently, I can no longer check the battery health, and I've also lost the True Tone feature. The technician, Ali, was a very nice gentleman. However, he should have informed me upfront that these features would be lost, as he seemingly just swapped out the parts without any further calibration. I was deeply disappointed, knowing that I could have performed the same task myself and saved a lot of money. To retain these functionalities, one needs to invest in a battery programmer to transfer the original battery chip to the new battery, among other specialized tools and techniques. This Shop needs to invest on such tools & methods.
