If you have Ricoh products and need to be repaired, I am sorry but you got to find a better place. My Ricoh GR3x has a constant date adjustment issue. I didn't know that this was the issue but as I kept using it was pain in the ass and I found some of other GR users were experiencing the same issue. I decided to send the camera to Precision Camera (Because this is the only authorized Ricoh camera repair shop in the US) a month ago. After a week or so, I received an email regarding parts delay. It says it will be delayed 1-2 weeks. I was like "okay that's fine." After 2 weeks, I emailed to PCR to update the status, and I got an email from Trish by saying that they ordered the part on 1/30 and we have to allow at least 30 days for the parts to be arrived. They didn't let me know about this information until I reached out to them. However, this was not the worst story from them unfortunately. After a week or so, after I received that email from Trish, all of sudden, the camera was sent to Ricoh Corporate office handled by Bruce McNeil. I was able to communicate with him and I asked you guys are repairing the camera or still waiting for the parts in the corporate office and he said they are repairing and will send me the eta shortly. Another week after (02/24), I got an email from Precision Camera saying the camera was sent to Precision Camera. I was like "What is going on?? I thought the corporate team was repairing the camera". I emailed to Bruce what was going on and he said "I had them send it to me for an inspection and consideration for replacement if needed. Now that PCR has the parts, they are replacing the parts, and your camera will be returned to you shortly. They have the parts, they have the camera, and they are expediting the repair. Sorry for the delay on the parts' arrival. I just wanted to make sure we had all the bases covered." And today (02/25), I called the Precision Camera Customer Service Center to make sure they are repairing the camera since I received "Parts delayed" email again from them. The representative said "We got the camera on 02/24 and we need to order the parts". I said "Wait, are you sure? Could you check that one more time? Because I sent it a month ago, and I was told that you guys have the parts and they are repairing it from Bruce". She double checked, and said "Sorry we didn't order the parts yet". I wish it was a joke but unfortunately it really happened to me. They literally mislead customers and mishandle the situation. I don't know how much this review can affect for their business, but people who wants to buy Ricoh products in the US, please don't.. unless you are okay with this kind of ridiculous situation.
