My 20-year Canon 24-70 2.8 lens broke on set one day. It would not zoom and ticked like a bomb with the error message 01, communications between the camera and lens is faulty. I reached out to Canon, but they refused to fix older lenses and want you to replace them. A replacement new would be $2,600, and a used was around a thousand. Perfect Image Camera said they could repair the aperture flex cable and did for $400. A huge savings and I got to keep my original lens. I drove 3 hours round-trip to their store twice, once to drop off my lens and again to pick it up a few weeks later. I am so grateful they repair camera gear to keep us professionals going. I highly recommend them for lens repairs, and I will go back if I need another camera gear repair in the future.
