Best in the area Great work!!
We needed the headliner replaced on our 15 year old car. Oz got was able to get us in quickly and replace the headliner within a few hours. The headliner looked even better than when the car was new! I would highly recommend him for any upholstery work you may need!
I paid $2800.00 labor to have a top installed on a 1977 VW convertible, which is a fair price. However, it was installed crooked, off center to the left and no way to correct it once installed. Also notice the damage done to the top on the right rear corner, see photo, the cut or tear was sewn back using black thread in the bobbin, on a white top? After asking me to make sure that the rear window defrost wires were available in the back area so they could be connected when the top was installed, they were left disconnected and hidden under the rear seat! One photo shows how he offered to connect them, hanging in mid-air? Now, there is no way to re-connect them without tearing the headliner out and the carpet from the rear storage area behind the seat. The wires are supposed to be under the carpet, behind the headliner and exit thru a hole in the rear window frame itself. On the way home after I picked the car up, the headliner blew loose where it is fastened behind the rear seat back. See photos. I also asked him if he would install some TMI quality manufactured seat covers which he stated that he would do. I asked how much and he would not give me a price, stated that he did that kind of work by the hour. Having installed a top and seat covers on a 1969 VW convertible in years past I had a pretty good idea of the time involved. He charged me $2700.00 labor to pull those seat covers on. The right seat back cover is misaligned and is not repairable due to the holes in it from the headrests which prevent it from being re-aligned without the holes showing. In looking at the photo of the bottom of the right seat back you can see where the connecting strip is up on the back side of the seat, not underneath like it is on the left hand seat back. This is the kind of work he does that never gets posted on his Facebook page. I bet I am not the only person who has experienced the same poor quality work. I took the car back to see if he would do something to remedy the problem with the seat, he refused to do so, blamed it on the seat covers being after market covers! Of course he can't do anything to make it right, the damage is such that it is unusable. So take this for what it is worth. Be wise and shop around. Don't trust everyone to be honest with you because they don't always act in good faith! Watch for me at local car events, I will be there for you to see for yourself what I got for $5,500.00!
He's working on my car right now ππ
