Overhead Door Co. of Sierra Nevada-Reno Inc.

As someone who was shopping around just trying to get some quotes and more information. I was referred to overhead from another garage door company that branched off of overhead. When I called to get a quote through overhead and brought up who I was recommended from overhead had nothing to say but negative things about this person and their company which I don't think was valid or professional in any way shape or form to speak to a potential client about. Unfortunately I had a negative experience with trying to get information from overhead. Due to me mentioning this person my quote price went up a couple thousand dollars. I had a family member call to get the same quote and it was a huge difference all because of one person that you think a company would be proud of for branching off and creating their own company. Very unprofessional and I am very unhappy.

Overhead Door Reno driver blocked our community's fire lane and crosswalk with their service vehicle. It was holding sharp metal debris that extended into our crosswalk at head level. When I politely asked if the driver would move the vehicle to the available parking space only 20ft in front of it, they refused. It would have taken zero effort for this Overhead Door representative to be more considerate of our community's traffic safety, but that was too much for them. 1450 Idlewild Drive, 08DEC2023, 10:40AM
