On The Mark Piano Tuning LLC

Not sure what happened here. I was so excited that I found a piano tuner who had nothing but positive reviews. I live in Clovis, NM and reached out to him because we haven’t been able to find a local piano tuner. I called him initially and got a text response saying “I am in a meeting, or with any other client. I will call back as soon as possible. Thanks. “. He didn’t call back. Later that day, I called again with no answer, so I decided to send a text with my inquiry. After this, he responded. We sent text messages back and forth to set up the date and time, and he said he would send me an estimate for fixing the piano at our church. He asked if I know of another piano to be tuned, because then he won’t charge for mileage. I told him that we only use the primary piano in the sanctuary, but the decision is up to the church treasurer. I told him that once I receive the quote, I can let him know what the church decides. He said he would send the quote shortly, but the quote never came, and he didn’t respond for the rest of the day. The next day, I sent a message saying I’m just following up about the requested quote, and he read the message and didn’t respond (his read receipts are on). This all happened Wednesday afternoon, with my follow up message on Thursday, and as of today (Friday), he still hasn’t even said anything or reached out. If this was too far (though I saw reviews that said he went to Ruidoso), he could have just said that instead of ignoring me completely. Or if he didn’t think it was worth it to come for 1 piano, he could have said that also. I did not expect this type of lack of communication from him based on the reviews.
