From the first phone call, they were receptive and we had great communications. Scheduling was easy and the technician showed up on time with a text message heads up prior to arriving. We are a gated property with animals, and they were accommodating with our schedule and situation. Pricing is very fair. I would definitely recommend using them.
Best company in dealt with for my carpenter ants infestation. Love how the kept communication professionally. In two days the handle the ant infestation so well and kept checking in to make sure it stayed that way. Very affordable, and very transparent with their pricing on monthly pest removal plans
I absolutely despise lawn chemicals. I think they are bad for animals, humans, and the ecosystem in general. I think rewilding as much as possible should be the norm, but my HOA thinks otherwise, so after spending a whole bunch of money re-sodding while trying to manage the lawn weeds and fungus myself, I decided to try Ohara. Fortunately they sent Prentiss, who assured me he would not spray my butterfly garden nor the bushes where I had nesting birds, and they would not use pesticides without my expressed permission for a proven problem. Fortunately they sent Prentiss, who assured me he would not spray my butterfly garden nor the bushes where I had nesting birds, and they would not use pesticides without my expressed permission for a proven problem. I use the numerous birds to take care of the insects. Prentiss had a kind and reassuring manner, and I trusted him. So, I hired them. It’s been several months now and they seem to have conquered the weeds and are working on keeping the fungus in check. The only reason I have not rated this company a 5 is that I had some concerns over a portion of the lawn that did not seems to be responding to treatment. They sent out a supervisor who discovered my sprinkler company had set up timing for only 5 of my 6 zones when they installed a new timer so one zone was always being missed. This was good, except he set my sprinklers to run from 10pm to 4 am. We are only allowed to have sprinklers on 3 days per week, which I told him and he set for three days per week, but because he set the sprinklers to come on 4 hours earlier than they had previously been set for, this required 6 days on the timer not 3, so I ended up missing multiple zones each time the sprinklers ran for a few days until I discovered the problem. For a company who says they install and service sprinklers, this seemed a huge oversight. But now that the sprinklers are running properly the lawn is looking better than before I hired them. I am grateful to Prentiss for looking out for my butterflies and birds and yet giving me pretty grass to keep my HOA happy! I would definitely recommend Ohara for lawn issues.
