Had a tire with a slow leak that needed repair. I arrived without an appointment and they took my car back and had me out of there in 30 minutes. Awesome service!! Highly recommend
Didn't want to give 1 star because they supposedly fixed my husband's truck putting in new engine was fine for couple weeks and starting acting up again took it in and they kept few days said we dont know whats wrong with it how are you mechanics if you can't find a problem. You all screwed the truck up so bad had to get rid of it and didn't own up to what u messed up. Please don't take your vehicles here. Also must say with our warranty still had to pay like 5k out of pocket for absolutely nothing.
Just had major repairs done to my 1990 f150 at Oakley, very professional, friendly and threw in some extras at no charge. Satisfied as I can be with an older truck. Ed was on top of my repairs and the most important thing, he kept me informed of the progress. Thanks. Would recommend.
Before you take your vehicle to Oakley’s Auto Worx on Broadway St., please read this. My experience ended in a courtroom — and I won a judgment against them. I brought my Dodge Durango to their Broadway location for a no-start issue. I paid $1,862.50 after being told the problem was fixed. Just eleven days later, my vehicle failed in the exact same way, and Oakley’s had to tow it back to their shop because their repair didn’t hold up. After that tow, the explanations changed constantly. I was told it would be ready on Monday, then told something different, then told they had figured it out. But when I arrived to pick it up, I was suddenly asked to pay almost $600 more for the same issue they were supposed to have fixed the first time. When I questioned that, I was told to take my keys and leave. Two days later, the vehicle broke down again with the same symptoms and the same codes. At that point, I told the owner, Ed, in writing that I would be taking the vehicle elsewhere. His response was a very clear text: “I will have you a check today.” That message is what led me to take the SUV to another shop that properly diagnosed and fixed the real problem. When I returned to collect the refund that he promised me in writing, the story changed again. The promised amount shifted. Eventually the promise itself was denied. I was left with no vehicle, a failed repair, and a bill for a second shop. So I took the matter to small claims court. The shop came with a lawyer. I came with evidence: receipts, photos, codes, and the written refund promise. After hearing the case, the court ruled in my favor and entered a judgment against Oakley’s Auto Worx. That judgment is now recorded in the public court system. I’m posting this review for one reason: so other customers know the full picture before doing business here. My vehicle broke down multiple times after their repair, the refund I was promised in writing was not honored, and the situation ended with a judge ruling against the shop. Everyone has to decide where to take their vehicle. Based on everything I experienced and everything the court confirmed, I cannot recommend this shop.
