Got some stones. Quite expensive for rocks. But they do offer a vetarens discount.
These sorts of bulk goods are sold by the cubic yard (3'x3'x3'). I my experience they deliver less then the amount you've purchased. On 3/27/24 I purchased 1 yard of crushed limestone gravel. The arrangement we worked out was I bought the yard, which they set aside, and I'd draw from my purchased pile into bins to be transported in my truck over the course of a few days. I didn't want to take the weight of a full yard in my 14 y.o. F-150; and doing it a bit at a time made the most sense for the flow of my project. I was very pleased with them indulging me this arrangement. A cubic yard equals 202 gallons. I used 3 plastic storage bins that were rated at 18 gallons. On 3/27 I took 45 gallons; on 3/29 I took another 45 gal; so, at that point I hadn't even taken 50% of the yard that I purchased. When I came to get another load there wasn't even 22 gallons remaining in my pile. Ignoring Mark yelling insults to me, I backed my tailgate up to the full pile and filled 3 more bins to the brim, taking another 51 gallons. All told, of the 202 gallons I purchased, I only received 141 gallons or 70% of what I bought. Had I not ignored their hostility and exerted myself, I would have gotten only 55%. Watch carefully the amount they deliver. In my experience they'll rob you.
Bought 4 yards of Redwood Mulch. The pile they delivered seemed smaller (3 yards worth only) than other places I have bought mulch. When I called them to discuss they said they use a 2 yard scope to scope out mulch twice to make it 4 yards on the truck. Dont think I will be returning back there again.
