Mr. Floyd was hired because we were impressed by his eagerness to perform the job for my company. We had a large project involving the installation of a FASTBACK machine which was critical. Mr. Floyd promised to show up Saturday 9/12 at 12 noon. We called, left messages, texts but to no avail. Mr. Floyd finally showed up at 3:30 (the office closed at 4pm causing the Manager to stay over.. Now today, 9/14, he is to show up by 12noon. We've been calling him since 8am this morning to confirm his arrival. We are on schedule with the Installers, plumber, Forklift People but no word from the most important person, Mr. Floyd, the electrician. I would not recommend using this company for any further work due to lack of professionalism. We paid him a deposit the first day for him to buy supplies. NO GOOD!! WOULD YOU HIRE SOMEONE FROM A COMPANY, WHO IS THE OWNER WHO DOESN'T RESPOND?? We let our guard down and what a disappointment!!! 12:08 We finally heard from Lewis Floyd who said he was in Virginia Beach and would not come to do the electrical work he made promised to perform. Now our company is in a terrible situation. If I could give a 0 this company still wouldn't be deserving. 09/29/20 Today we received a Collection Letter on behalf of the STOP Payment we placed on the check for $290.00 given to Lewis Floyd in advance for work will unwilling did not know he would not perform but this was a DEMAND of his. Mr. Floyd is a very clever and deceitful individual, he know that by going to Walmart to cash the check, the stop payment would not show up at Walmart as a Stop Payment. We , are filing a Civil case against :ewis Floyd for fraudulent deception. Who ever reads this "Review and you don't take this seriously, then be prepared to get ripped off by Lewis Floyd from New Light electric, who said he is the OWNER. Watch your finances. Don't trust this man or his company!! The sadness of it all is that WE trusted him here at our company!!!!
