Don't sell your stuff here - he'll talk a big game over the phone and then lowball you after you waste the time, energy, and gas to get there. I had a brand new s21 that was collecting dust in the box, and the guy said his store's trade-in value was $90-$120 when I called, which was double ecoATM's trade-in value (he even said his store used international/Chinese rates and that's what it was for an s21), so I took the time to make the trek out to his shop. When I got there, he turned the phone on after a brief charge. Battery health was verifiably at 100% according to device reporting, and yet he tried to claim the battery was bad because booting it up from low-battety after a brief charge brought the battery level from 11% to 8%, which is normal and not an indicator of battery health. He also tried to tell my partner (who literally works at Verizon) that the phone wasn't network unlocked (which again, it verifiably is) and therefore he could only give us a fraction of what he offered over the phone, which came out to even less than EcoATM was offering. My partner and I have worked in technology, mobile phones, and digital marketing for most of our adult lives, including for Verizon, Samsung, and Microsoft, so we're not exactly the rubes with tech that he was hoping for. Dude definitely tried to pull the wool over our eyes, jerk us around, waste our time, and get a brand new phone for $40 so he could turn around and sell it for $250. Skeevy and slimy. Don't do business here.
