Recently went here for the first time and will definitely be back! The gentlemen in the store was friendly and polite. He helped me with three pair of shoes, all different issues. They were each done quickly and with expertise. All reasonably priced and done under a week.
Payed 20 dollar just to help me repair the front sole of my shoe. Used hot glue to not only ruined my shoe and punctured 2 holes on my shoe. My shoe is a 1000 dollar shoe. This old man with the glasses on has no integrity, blamed me for the cause of the damages and used his 35 years profession as an excuse to avoid responsibility. Don’t come here if you want good quality service.
I will return in person and I hope to get this remedied. I brought a pair of Doc Marten Jaden platform boots in about 2 months ago for a zipper replacement and cleaning. The zipper replacement is okay. You can clearly tell the difference between the repair and the original. No big deal for me. More importantly: I was surprised to see upon pickup that subtle cracks in the rubber bottoms had glue applied between the sides of each crack, which led to them cracking more in those spots. I didn’t pay it much mind, hoping that I was overreacting. I’ve worn these about two dozen times since getting them back, and today they have split almost completely in half on the bottom. The glue that was applied cracked apart. They are in much worse shape now than before I went to Morris repair. For a $90 repair, I am not happy at the moment. I’ll post with an update once I find out if these can be replaced. 🤞 :(
