Took my car here after my wife was in a wreck. They did a fine job repairing the body. When we picked the car up, we noticed the air was not blowing cold. We took it back and at first the person told my wife the ac just needed blown out. When I called again, they told me that the issue was a door actuator, that it was a common issue with my car. He told me to Google it. I explained that the air worked perfectly before the collision. He stated itβd be over $800 to repair it. We called insurance and Moodys must have told them that it was a previous issue not caused by the wreck.(although the air was cold and perfect prior to the accident.) Insurance said that we had to take it to a dealer to prove it happened during the wreck. At this point I knew it would cost more to prove Moodyβs negligence and lies than to take it elsewhere. I took my car for repairs at another shop yesterday and it turns out the actuator is fine. Moodys lied. There was less than 1/2 a pound of Freon in the car, itβs suppose to have 1 pound. The fan that Moodyβs put in was not installed correctly, therefore the air was not blowing right. The issue with the air conditioner was caused by Moodyβs negligence. They lied to me, my wife, and insurance. While this is one mechanics word against Moodys, Moodyβs was in the wrong. Their work was faulty. It cost me an additional $300, plus a rental car, to fix what they messed up and lied about. Iβve used Moodys twice for extensive vehicle repairs, I will not be back. They are not honest. Do not use them. Iβve shared this with everyone I know. Beware of this place.
