My family and I visited Modern Games on December 30th, and we had a great experience. I was looking for game suggestions for young kids as well as adults with 2–4 players, and the employee helping us was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She gave us several great recommendations, and we ended up buying two smaller games that we have absolutely loved. We will definitely be coming back to buy more!
Stopped in today to find some Christmas gifts for my son. Although they didn't have the exact items I was looking for (specific Warhammer sets), I still got a gift card. The gentleman at the counter was really helpful, and I know my son hangs out there a lot, so I'm sure he will find something up his alley. Love supporting local shops like this. ❤️
This is an example of the card shops that no one wants to spend money at bc they buy product that should be available to the consumer at msrp from big box stores and bc they can’t go about properly attaining their own distribution the consumers that shop here will be asked to pay DOUBLE the msrp. $120 for a pokemon figure collection is robbery! Reply: Oh, so you have multiple suppliers and still charge the prices that you do? Your prices are exactly why the products are still sitting on your shelf. We understand you are a for profit entity, but understand there are LGS (Samuri’s, E4) with way better prices and people will support those stores. Your prices aren’t based off market, you are trying to make up for that high rent and know how Pokemon FOMO works.
Cool place to play some board games. They have a decent enough selection. We enjoyed our time here. $5 per person for the whole day. No outside food or drinks allowed, but you can buy different beverages, popcorn, candy, and they provide free water. They also have amazing music taste that you will find yourself bobbing your head and singing along to. The owners are really nice and chill! Oh and they validate your parking 😎
