Mixon Foundation and Crawl Space Repair

We had an excellent experience with Mixon Foundation and Crawl Space Repair while they encapsulated our son’s new home in Saraland, Alabama. Since we live out of state, we were especially appreciative of how seamless they made the entire process. Kayela was fantastic—she did a great job scheduling and organizing all of the appointments, answered every question we had, and truly made us feel at ease throughout the project. Being out of state can be stressful, but her communication and organization made all the difference. She was so happy and sweet! Ross and Jim were equally impressive, taking the time to answer all of our technical questions and consulting with us to make sure we chose the best solution for the home. They were extremely knowledgeable about Alabama’s climate challenges and local termite concerns, and even went the extra mile by purchasing special termite resistent foam board to ease my mind and ensure the crawl space was properly protected long-term. The workmanship was excellent, communication was consistent, and we always felt confident that our son’s home was in good hands—even from miles away—paired with the kind of genuine southern hospitality that makes working with Mixon Foundation and Crawl Space Repair feel like family and truly stand out.

Mixon did a great job of fully encapsulating our crawl space. The dehumidifier is doing an amazing job of keeping the area dry and we no longer have musty smells in the house. The work was very professional and transparent to us as in they came in, did the work, and were were not inconvenienced at all. The after service care was great. We had a question about something and they were right out to answer/correct the issue. We will definitely use them again for any foundation work.

We found ground floor support beams, installed with the initial construction of our addition, were sagging due to inadequate support. We realized this must be addressed. We wanted to use a local contractor and Mixon's ratings and prompt attention when we called made you our choice. Ross and his amazing team visited us on two separate occasions, making repairs and designing and adding the missing supports that we needed. I cannot say enough about the attention to detail and efficiency with which the team completed the work for us. Dragging doors on both the ground and second floor were immediately opening and closing freely.
