I purchased a 3 piece sectional 4 years ago from Mittens. There was 2 broken parts on it. Vi brought the lower seat in on Tuesday. They called on Wednesday afternoon. They had it repaired. What a pleasant surprise. They delivered 1st class service.

I went to put dinner in the preheated oven only to discover a cold oven. We immediately drove to Mittens and found a stove that, not only had all the features we wanted, but also had a price that was just right. We discovered it wouldn’t be delivered until Monday (This was a Thursday). Imagine our surprise when we received a call early Friday morning that the delivery was going to be that very same day! Mittens, we’ll be back to replace our other well-worn appliances.
Horrible product, horrible service. If I could give 0 stars I would. We purchased a very expensive refrigerator from Mittens about 2 years ago, and thank goodness we got the warranty, since then it has been in repair for over 6 months of that time, then we were told that it could not be repaired. The insurance company told us that the entire amount would be covered as long as they gave us the same model which they could not do, so we then had to pay an additional $1400 to get the same refrigerator with a couple of different shelf configurations. We were charged the extra amount 2 weeks before receiving the refrigerator. When we scheduled the delivery, I called to reschedule for the next week as we were going to be out of town, the person didn’t even take my name or any information, I had to tell him don’t you need to know who this is for? He then said okay I guess let me get the name, and assured me it would be changed. We then get a call the day before the original scheduled date stating they would be there at 8:30 the next morning. We rushed home to ensure it would be ready. The delivery person was rude and rolled his eyes at me when I told him I didn’t know how to shut the water off for the fridge water hose, as he was the same person who had taken out and delivered our old refrigerator every time we had it in for service and had done it each time. They finished installing, left lots of the plastic protective covering still on the refrigerator and just yelled we are done and exited our house without even showing us the “new” refrigerator or asking us if we had any questions. We then get a call the next day that we need to come sign a paper for financing which we had already been charged for 2 weeks ago. My husband asked why they didn’t have us sign yesterday when they were in our home, and Jay stated because there were no adults home. My husband and I were both home, I was the one who let them in, and nobody mentioned any form. Jay was also rude on the phone. I have never received good customer service except for the older gentleman who came to check out the refrigerator the first time it broke and he wasn’t even able to do anything with it, but at least he wasn’t rude.
Our cooktop needed to be hard wired, the salesman failed to inform us about this. He said it'd be $100 to install. I scheduled an appt and the installer hands me a bill for $200, looks at my outlet and says an electrician needs to do this. They're still charging for service even though that can't install the product. If the salesman would have mentioned this I wouldn't have had them come out. Nice store though, prices are high.
We had an appliance go bad on a Sunday, we went here after checking other local sellers of appliances. So happy we did. The prices are a fair comparison; however, the knowledge was great - unparalleled actually. A lot more options, with a larger selection then all others. We left more educated, and downright more confident and comfortable in our purchase. We were back on track a few hours later.
