Another Update: I submitted a complaint to Better Buisness Bueru, and the BBB out to Marsh. Technology, but they ignored consumer concerns and didn't respond. Update: Took the phone to another technician, and they found the Marshfield Tech. screen was DEFECTIVE, and the LCD was in proper order. I aslo had this done CHEAPER, with a warranty that covers products and worksmanship. Stop by Cellular Repair in Wausau; they will treat you like a consumer in need, and not a bipedal wallet. Original review: If you value your time and expect qualtiy work, you MUST AVOID THIS PLACE. We took our son's phone to have the screen replaced, and after 2 weeks they handed us a phone that turned dark after 30 minutes of use. It stayed "on" for a little bit, but then the screen would turn off and on, and then stayed off. We brought it back so it could get fixed l, and they then asked for us to pay 100.00 more , blaming us that we broke the LCD component. "You must have dropped it" "you pressed the screen too hard". Which none of that was true. And when I said "you must have installed this new screen wrong." They replied, "no". Which takes us into the deeper concern for conduct of this place: Looking over the numerous 1 star scores , I would agree with the lack of communication, follow through, poor customer service altogether...but the biggest concern for consumers is the ethics of their policies and how they treat people. They will not guarantee their workmanship, and they engineered a policy to absolutely avoid any wrong-doing while doing repairs. You can read it for yourself, I attached it in the photo section. They will only warranty the replacement piece for 30 days...and despite stating "and the worksmanship" in the 30 day warranty, the sentences proceeding that statement remove them from any issues that can occur due to the repair. So if they "break" something (push to hard on something, bad soldering, mishandling the phone, maybe even the wrong part) after they install, as long as the screen turns on once at the counter, they will deem it in good working order and assess anything that happens immediately afterwards YOUR fault. So, you have to ask yourself ; what is stopping them from working behind a closed door, making a mistake , and charging you more money? Nothing. Their policy protects them from guilt free work and poor quality service. It is the perfect consumer trap. Stay away. This isnt their first 1 star review, and seeing how they handle customers i can only assume it will not be their last.

If I could leave 0 starts, I would. Horrible Customer Service! Brought my laptop in on Saturday for a broken hinge, had to call multiple times just to get an estimate. Finally got one and they said if wouldn't be fixed for over an additional week. 2 weeks to get my laptop fixed is ridiculous. I had to put a deposit of $50 down and I won't get that back. Taking it to a different repair store. I would not recommend Marshfield Technologies to anyone.
