Mike Bryant Heating & Cooling

We have used Mike Bryant Heating & Cooling for the past 5 years, ever since they installed our HVAC system when our house was built. We prepaid for spring and fall maintenance and trusted that our units were being serviced properly. Unfortunately, that trust has been broken. Despite repeatedly telling the technicians about temperature irregularities (our office and master bedroom never cooling properly in the summer or heating properly in the winter), nothing was ever done. This summer, our home stayed humid and uncomfortable, with alerts from our upstairs unit that it could not keep up. Out of frustration, we called another HVAC company. What they found was unacceptable: Both units were filthy and had not been cleaned in quite some time (photos attached). The condenser was frozen. Coolant had to be added to BOTH systems — 3 pounds upstairs and 2 pounds downstairs. The bill came to $1,541.65 — an expense we never should have had if maintenance had been done properly. I contacted Mike Bryant management in writing, requesting all records and reimbursement. I never received a reply. When I finally reached the service manager, he admitted it was “embarrassing” but dismissed the charges as being “too high” rather than acknowledging their own failure. He promised to look into it but has not followed up, despite both me and my husband speaking with him. We have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (9/8/25 and they have not yet responded) and will be notifying our builder that this is the company representing their name. We are also posting these photos so that others know what we’ve experienced: paid maintenance not being completed, thousands of dollars in out-of-pocket costs, and zero accountability from management. Consumers deserve better.
