Very poor experience working with Debbie from Meridian Floor Covering. We had walked in with a sample board from another floor covering store. We were wanting to go with a herringbone pattern and specifically were wanting to avoid large wide tiles as it looks odd when done with one. The board itself had larger tiles on the front and some smaller tiles on the back. Debbie was shown the smaller tile on the back and was asked if she had it available. She said she did and a large order was processed. It turns out the tiles on the back were just for sample colors cut down into a smaller size and were not an available size. Once the large order was finally picked up and delivered to my house for installation, I immediately knew the size was too big. We called to get it resolved and were told that it was non-refundable. This was never mentioned to us when we first ordered the tile. Additionally Debbie began saying that we had asked for that specific size and for a different pattern that we did not want. She was very rude. Highly recommend if you're just an everyday consumer and not a contractor that you explore other flooring providers who double check information with you, have more friendly staff, and policies in place to protect the consumer when errors are made.
