My parents bought a washer from this place and it messed up with in just a few days. My dad took it back and they told him that it wasnt fixable. They told my dad he can get a full refund and when my mom went to pick it up they didn’t show up to give it to her and later my dad went to go and get the refund he only go half the refund and they told him he would get the rest the same day and when my mom went to pick up the rest of the refund the guy didn’t show up. My parents now lost $100 plus a washer machine that they had originally bought from them. So, unprofessional and no communication.
We are incredibly disappointed with our experience with this company. Based on our own situation and the reviews of many other customers, this seems to be a recurring pattern of poor service. There has been no courtesy in returning phone calls, emails, or texts. Appointments were repeatedly rescheduled, and we were told parts had arrived only to later learn they had not. The vendor consistently responded to the home warranty provider but ignored direct communication with us as the customer.
Given this experience, I will contact our home warranty provider to recommend removing this company from their vendor list. Professionalism, reliability, and basic communication are not optional in this line of work, and unfortunately, this company has failed in all three.
DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS Ariel Lopez is weak, a fraud and a scam. I paid him to purchase a part to fix my washing machine in June 2025 he scheduled with me three times in June and July he no showed, no courtesy calls, no response to my calls and texts through August 2025. I am putting this on social media, better business bureau . I'm not done.
Short version: They took my money for the service call fee, strung me along for two months, and never came back to complete the work. Super unprofessional, terrible communication, almost never answered my calls.
My experience mirrors a lot of other reviews, which I am grateful for because I wouldn’t have known how to make sense of this otherwise.
Here’s the long version:
Someone came to my house and spent about five minutes with my washer, then told me it needs new bearings which would be $700 to fix, would take time to get the parts in and more time to schedule. The cost to fix was about the same as the cost to replace, but I was going through a home warranty so I approved going ahead with it.
Several weeks later I hadn’t heard anything back from them, so I called the office for a status update. They were incredibly hard to get ahold of, but when I eventually did, they said they’d gotten all but one of the parts in and the last one should be in that Friday. I heard nothing Friday, so I called back Tuesday, and they confirmed the parts came in Friday but hadn’t contacted me to let me know. I asked about scheduling an appointment and the person I talked to was weirdly cagey about it and said he’d call me back. He never called me back, and from then on the office almost never answered my calls.
Finally I told my home warranty I wanted to go with someone else bc I couldn’t get ahold of them to schedule an appointment and they’d had the parts in for weeks. The home warranty tried contacting them, and the business finally gave an appointment time (to the warranty, not to me directly). I tried calling them to confirm the appointment and nobody answered my calls, except for one time, when somebody did answer and said he thought I was scheduled for two weeks earlier than the date given to my warranty, but he would call back and confirm.
Annnnd nobody ever called me back. I finally got confirmation via email that my appointment was on the date given to the warranty.
Cut to the day of the appointment, fully two months after the initial diagnosis. I was told it was an 11am appointment and would take five hours to complete the work. I called the office at 10:40 day of to confirm my appointment since I’d gotten no communication from them in weeks, and somebody did answer and said the guy would be there at 2pm — 3 hours late. No apology, just “it takes a long time to get from las cruces to albuquerque.” …but you knew I lived in albuquerque when you scheduled me for an 11am appointment?
By 2:30, nobody had shown up. I called back and it sounded like the person I talked to was in a car. He said the guy should be there by now and he’d call him and call me right back.
Welp, he never called me back. I called him after 20 mins of waiting for him to call me back, then tried two more times over the next half hour or so. No answer. I called the warranty company, who tried calling the company twice, and no answer. Haven’t heard from them since.
And to put icing on the cake, I just had someone else come diagnose the issue, and he said there was an error when putting it into test mode and he needs to fix that first and then rediagnose it. So that makes me think the guy from Lopez never even put it into test mode, or he would have come across the same issue.
On January 13, 2025 , I found unconscience in my home and was immediately hospitalized. My family came to help clean my home and did laundry for me. However, they took note that the washer spin cycle did not work properly. So they called López Expert Appliance Center.after two weeks of waiting for parts and setting a time to have him come and repair the machine, I had returned home. He came into the home, and instead of watching him do the work, I let him do it without my supervision. 20 minutes passed, and he was done and told me to wash something heavy in order to set the rod that kept it balance in place. I did, and immediately, the machine did not work and went right back to the same problem. I called him back, and he never answered or responded. I called another company, and they stated my machine was never opened to where it could be fixed. They stated he took my money is all that happened. The man, the owner, took my money and did not work on the machine. I am disabled, went through a very serious medical issue, and yet this man decided to scam me out of my money. Beware people, The very sad part is they ghost you after you pay them. He called everyday tobget the money for the repair and it was paid by my daughter. When I tried calling him back, stating the machine, never worked, i was blocked from making calls to him. They are thieves.
