We were visiting from California and I got pneumonia. I was able to talk to my kaiser Dr. He sent an order to this longs. When I got there only one medication order had come through. I contacted my Dr and he stayed on the line while I talked with the pharmacy people making sure everything went through. This was 20 min before they closed. I had my meds in hand withing a couple mins. They are a small pharmacy but they work well as a team. I can't say how impressed I was. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and was impressed with the efficacy of this small business. Nobody wants to get sick on vacation but this took the stress out of it. Mahalo
Excellent service at Longs Drugs! My prescription was ready before we even arrived, and I received both a text and an email notifying me. By the time we drove from the hospital to the pharmacy, everything was already prepared. The pharmacist was helpful and made the process smooth. Fast, efficient, and hassle-free—highly recommend!
Much improved over just after the "Out with the old, in with the new" crew took over. Still a bit of a shelf nightmare when trying to find specific medicines or vitamins, and while they revamped the "Pick Up" This caused the cold &flu section to be covered by waiting in line. It's a good layout if the store had about an extra 3-4 feet though. My pharmacy is stuck in the strip mall from the 1950's. No room, no room, no room. The new employees seemed to have cheated up a bit. No more Ling waits while the solo clerk put bagged Rx's on the shelf. I agree that it's a job for extreme overlapping skills. But making a customer wait at the counter for 5 minutes while you work in full view of them it feels like an hour.
